About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management: Execute procurement activities in line with company policies and industry standards, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

• Tendering: Prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and assist in the tendering process, ensuring comprehensive and competitive bids.

• Logistics Management: Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including import and export activities. Manage shipping documentation, customs requirements, and ensure the timely delivery of goods to meet operational needs.

• Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors. Evaluate vendor performance, ensuring adherence to contracts and high service levels.

• Supplier Development: Identify and develop new supply sources. Collaborate with technical teams to assess and qualify potential suppliers, ensuring they meet our business requirements and strategic goals.

• Compliance: Ensure all procurement processes adhere to legal and internal compliance standards, reducing risks and optimizing procurement performance.

• Contract Management: Support contract drafting, review, and management. Ensure the fulfillment of contractual obligations by vendors and address any issues that arise.

• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, vendor performance, and procurement metrics to inform decision-making.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of proven experience in procurement, logistics, and vendor management, preferably in the GCC region.

• Import and export experience is required, with knowledge of Qatar import documentation requirements.

• Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to secure cost savings.

• In-depth understanding of procurement processes, compliance requirements, and market trends.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, Access, and Vision.
